 THAI YOGA MASSAGE THERAPY 

Like most eastern healing traditions, the aim of Thai Yoga Massage Therapy is to stimulate the flow of energies within the body. This ancient massage is especially beneficial in releasing tension stored in the lower extremities, back, hips and legs. The effects include a deep sense of relaxed awareness. Thai Massage is given on a padded floor surface, please wear comfortable clothes that stretch.

Thai Yoga Massage is a partner practice that combines gentle passive stretching, acupressure, and breath work to encourage release of tension in the body while building compassion, connection, and trust. This practice is a shared experience that is mutually beneficial to both the giver, and receiver.

In these classes Mary Wolters will guide you and a partner, through an accessible Thai massage sequence that provides deep release through pressure with hands, elbows, and feet, along with partner stretches and breathing.

Practice ends with a grounding meditation that is intended to create connection with yourself and others in a spirit of loving-kindness, compassion, and sympathetic joy.
